Instrument Ground School

Tired of being grounded by that low layer of clouds.  Now is the time to start working on you Instrument Rating.  With this rating, you will no longer be restricted by lower visibilities and cloud decks, all the while increasing your pilot and navigating skills.  Please join Flight World instructor Jason Unger (CFII/MEI) as he teaches an 8 week, 24 hour, Instrument Rating ground school.  Classes will be conducted in a Flight World classroom using Jeppesen materials.  This course will cover all academic requirements for you to become an Instrument Rated Pilot.  Upon successful completion, you will receive the necessary endorsement to take the FAA’s, Instrument Pilot Written Knowledge Exam.

Class will meet every Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m.  Beginning May1 and ending on June 19.  (Time is subject to change)

The cost for the complete course is $375.00, payable at the first day of class.  This equates to just over $15.00/hr for superior ground instruction.

Order your Jeppesen, Instrument Pilot, training kit prior to starting class.  Materials are available at the  DuPage Pilot Shop.  Receive FREE ground shipping by simply typing "Flight World Member" in the comments section during checkout.
